The Ozark Area Community Action Corporation -

Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC) is part of a network of private, non-profit organizations that were created by the federal government in 1964 to combat poverty. Community Action Agencies have a tripartite board structure that is designated to promote the participation of the entire community to assist low-income families. Community Action Agencies seek to involve the community, including elected public officials, private sector representatives, and especially residents who live on limited incomes, in assessing local needs and combating the causes and conditions of poverty.

Christian Action Ministries -

Christian Action Ministries  serves to combat food insecurity in Taney County, just as we have since 1984.  Last year, that meant that we were able to provide more than 40,000 individual cases of assistance with nearly 500,000 meals provided and over 2,000,000 pounds of food distributed.  We know that we can do this only through the power of the Holy Spirit and the many, many contributions of our volunteers and our partners who generously share their blessings with our neighbors.  Thank you!

Springfield Dream Center -

Springfield Dream Center exists as a hub of practical help and life-giving hope to families in Springfield, Missouri. Located within Zone 1, the Dream Center gives donors and supporters the opportunity to make a direct impact by providing resources and long-term skills in order to help families gain traction towards spiritual, mental, and physical stability.

Community Outreach Ministries -

Our story begins in 1999, when a group of local pastors formed the Bolivar Area Ministerial Alliance (BAMA) to start a food pantry and meet needs in Polk County. In 2007, BAMA formally incorporated as a formal nonprofit. In 2014, we changed our name to Community Outreach Ministries (COM) to better reflect the purpose of our organization as a community effort of all Christians, not just of pastors. Today, COM operates the food pantry for Polk County, provides case management, and seeks to empower those in poverty through life skills classes. But that is just the beginning! Our ministries our multifaceted, and we would love to have you join us on our mission of service.
