About Me

I started off my adult life as an Army Paratrooper in the 82 nd Airborne Infantry Division at Ft. Bragg, NC, and then after a deployment overseas, I got married to my wife of 24 years. I left Active Duty and went to the 45 th Infantry Division National Guard in Oklahoma City. We soon had our hands full with our 3-year-old son and newborn twin boys. I worked as a Lineman for an electric company for 4 years and loved it. But I soon decided to dedicate my life to the public as a Police Officer for 16 years. On July 16 th of 2018 my life drastically changed when I responded to a call for help from a woman whose husband was trying to kill her and her son. This encounter left me permanently disabled and later retired from the Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement System. I laid in bed for almost 3 years waiting for surgery that 4 neurosurgeons in Oklahoma and 1 in Texas refused to do because of the level of my injury. Finally, Dr. Lance Smith in Edmond fused my neck and back, giving me some much-needed relief. After a whole bunch of “feeling sorry for myself” and many prayers and support from my church and family I made the decision to try and help others by making sure that other families were a lot better insured than I was. God was waiting to reveal his new plan for my life on his time not mine. Currently my wife and I are easing into our “Empty Nesters” years. Our oldest son has been married for a little over a year. Our twins recently graduated high school and are beginning their adult lives. I started my insurance journey in January 2023 and have rapidly gained multiple licenses in Property & Casualty, Life, Health and Sickness, and now Medicare. I have finally found my calling and now I get to help people in a way that I never knew was so greatly needed. I get to ensure my customers are taken care of financially.
